Who We Are
Security Voice, Inc. is the national provider of the Safe School
Helpline®. The Helpline is a 24/7 communication service that
empowers school administrators to make proactive decisions
as well as creating responsibilities for students, parents and
community members to share in the maintenance of a safe
learning environment. We provide children with the
opportunity to anonymously report wrongdoing, bullying, and
negative issues that would impede the learning process. The
Safe School Helpline® has proven itself to be a very effective
tool in preventing and deterring negative acts and practices
from occurring in over thousands of schools.
It is our mission to provide clients with high quality products,
superior value added services, and outstanding customer
service at a fair price.

Founded in 1993 by Pat Sullivan and Anne Matunas
Original focus on corporate crisis hotlines
Developed the Safe School Helpline® in 1996
January 1997 - Reynoldsburg City Schools became the first school district to utilize the
Safe School Helpline®
August 1998 - Oklahoma becomes first state-wide contract
April 1999 - Columbine tragedy
July 1999, July 2001 and July 2003 - Governor of Ohio and Legislature passed
legislation to provide safe school help line funding
2001 - Company recognized as Entrepreneur of the Year in the Socially Responsible
2001 - Founders retire and new ownership team of Bob McCurdy, Paul Keinath and Jon
McCurdy was established.
2015 - Paul Keinath and Jon McCurdy retire.
2016 - Mobile App now available to Apple and Android phones.
The Safe School Helpline® service provided to over 6,000 schools, representing over
one million students, in over 20 states.
